2007 CLS trunk will not open :(
Here's hoping that someone can lead me in the right direction.
Closed my trunk, got in the car, started driving, dashboard red warning starts flashing indicating the trunk is open.
Stopped the car, got out, trunk was closed and would not re-open.
Will not open with the switch in the driver side door, will not open with the trunk latch (makes a hydraulic sound when the trunk latch is pulled but does not open), and I am stumped.
My local MB dealership says the only way to get into the trunk is to break out the right taillight assembly!!!! But I just cannot imagine this is the only way....
Please help!
In addition, now all of a sudden the ESP warning light is on as well. Are these two items related?
Thanks for any suggestions...
