New owner! Condensation in LED lights
So I pulled the trigger and just got a 2013 CLS 550 4Matic.
I've only had it 24 hours now. The weather here was extremely cold last night and today (below 0 F).
After driving for a bit, I noticed some condensation in all four lights (headlights and tail lights).I've searched the forums and found nothing on this. Google leads me to believe some think this is normal with some head lights, others say the light housing is defective...
If it was one light, then maybe it's a problem...but all four leads me to believe this is "normal".
Anyone else experience this? Should I be concerned?

Lamp units are open system. Ventilation ensures that condensation dissipates after a short period of operation. If no noticeable reduction unit is defective.

Ok. I just wonder why I had never noticed this on any other car. I'll keep an eye on it. I would love to hear if anyone else in a cold climate has experienced this. Thanks!

You may get a better answer if you ask this in the C218 forum. The c219 (w219 in the states) is model year 2006 through 2011. The c218 (w218) is the 2012 - 2013.
