Hi Guys my DPF Filter light has come on again, the light came on last year but it disappeared after 2 months, I got a local mercedes specialist to read the code and try a manual regeneration which he was unable to do, but as it didnt effect the performance or mpg it didnt bother me.

However this year it has now come on again but now the car feels like its in a limp mode as it wont kick down???

Any suggestions on how to rectify it?

Get it taken off then cancelled/deleted in the STAR system, I have done this for a BMW I had and it made no difference to the emission test, just the reliability......went up!
