2008 CLS550 VS 2007 bmw 335i coup twin turbo
hey i'm about to race my friend for a wadge do you think ill win i'm driving my 2008 cls550 and he's in his 07 bmw 335i tt.im sure b4 his turbos spoil up that il allready be way in front of him for him to even catch up right.plus i got a 550 a 5.5 v8 and 8th speed gearbox with S mode i beleve i'll pawn him in all ways in every race.will i win from 0 to 135 i'm sure from the jump il be leading . i know when i'm WoT im stuck to the seat cant even lift my chest up i got the power for sure and im on the Na engine he's got twin turbo's inline six i need tips is this even going to be a race for me or do i need to worry ,were doing 3 races best outa 3 for each race 1st race 60 to 140 2nd race 15 to 120 3th race 80 to 135 i know my mb cls550 08 is insanely fast im not sure if my friends 335 has that wow factor like me you guys please tell me the outcome thanks -paul from NJ thanks MB world! and is my friend
for thinking he's faster then me eehahaah btw we went togutor on a cruse night 1 night and we did a couple pulls with each outher i wasent in the cls550 this night i was in a 1996 audi a4 2.8 12valve v6 and i was in front of the 335i for a bit till he down shifted and spolled away and the whole time i was caching up quick my lil a4 was with him in the back flying too if my lil a4 keeps up im sure my cls550 will eat it lol

Hello MBworld just watching DragTimesInfo on youtube i hope i dont crash my one hundred thousand grand car racing. 4real 2bad i got my licence suspened 2 months 4 speeding so i wont b raceing soon im mad my friend is saying his 335 will spool up fast and says he's faster im like NO your a be mad my MB will crush you i know i saw 335i's are ok i had a z3 2000 530xi 2006 1997 m3 2003 328i but not beating my cls550 come on not even is a 335i in the same class as a M3 my cls is with the M5class yeah im sure 335is are quick on youtube but im sure ill be way in front in this race il even record the race.i compared my 2008 mb CLS550 with my friends 2007 335i on kbb.com and its more uneven for him it seems for racing i have him beat more il have it in the power and torq and am only 350 pounds more heavy

It will be neck-in-neck off the line. You should be pulling away by 70 mph. In terms of rolling runs, it really depends what gear and rpm you plan to pull from.
My opinion: if you are planning on racing at the high speeds you mentioned, take it to the track before someone innocent gets hurt.

In most likely hood, you will lose each race.
Strong specimen have been clocked at 4.7 sec to 60 and 13.3 quarter mile.

It is believed that the engine is underrated from factory and a simple Dinan tune will easily bring it to 400hp.
They are no joke and it is the poor man's M3.
I had a few runs with highly modded 335is in my C63 and it was either close or I was behind up to 100mph and I started reeling them in after that.

I have a c63 and also a 335 full bolt ons, if he has upgraded turbos and meth he will eat you for dinner. those 335 can go up to 600 whp with the right tune. but stock vs stock he should beat him to the ground.
