Renewing extended warranty. Inspect car first???
In the next few months my extended warranty is going to expire (thru mb) and I need to renew it. Anyone know if this can be done over the phone or do they physically need to see/inspect the car first? I have a few mods that I would rather not put back to stock if I don't have to (exhaust system). Also, is it a set price or should I "shop around" different mb dealers?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Shop around, prices can vary by dealer. I did mine over the phone. I don't think they asked for an inspection because the car was still under warranty.

Agree shop around .. Dealers can be anywhere in the country. Try Santa Monica Mercedes in California. All done over the phone. They are a very new dealer to take on mercedes and offer great prices.
She offered some great prices on extended warrantees..

Im also shopping around for extended warranties. I just got a quoate from the dealer in my area. He wants to charge $5700 for 4 years/ 90,000 miles. Do I have to stay local or can I call other dealers in different states?

You can shop around. There's a thread in the General forum on this topic:
