Tires.
Hey Guys.
I have an Mercedes CLS from 2007 with front tires 235/35/R19 and back tires 265/30/R19 can anyone tell me if those is standard for this model?
And that is the biggest back and front tires man can put on? Is it more then 265 and 235?
And last question, what will happen if all 4 tires is the same size, will the car show wrong speed?

I am testing a 245/35/20 and a 255/35/20 tomorrow on the front. Supposedly will hit bolt on upper a arm with 255 so we will see.
Yes diameter will be 26.8 and 27 but I will match with rears such as 285/30 or 295/30.

Not exactly true. That is what you are supposed to run to keep OEM diameters. I am trying to avoid running 25 profile in the rear so I am trying out different sizes that others have confirmed to have already run.
There are horror stories about a 26.8 or 27" diameter tire ruining your traction control or stability but I find them not so accurate as long as you keep the same diameter all around. A 27" compared to 26" is 61mph versus 60.

I hear you. I am not claiming that it will work although others have said yes. I have the luxury of trying out multiple sizes and widths. If anything rubs during turning with load on the car I will give in and go to a 30/25 setup. Lowering is unnecessary however if this works because the tire would close the fender gap 1/2". Offsets play a major role here too as some try an aftermarket +35 and complain about inner rubbing with a wider tire. Well if course, you pushed the rim in 1/4" with that offset and then the wider tire sitting on the rim took up more room.
I'll report back as I test.

As was stated in a different thread, with correct offsets (and non-lowered, which IMO is not needed since higher sidewalls will "hide" some of the tire to fender gap) 245/35-20 and 285/30-20 will work 100%. 255/295 remains to be seen pending your tests.
