Links vs elm. Pros & cons?
Alright guys. Need some advice. I've lowered my car via STAR as low as the computer will take it and its still not sitting where I want it. I probably need another 3/4" out of it.
Should I go with an elm from renntech or links? I know links would be cheaper (600.00 installed) but is there a down side to going this route? I know the tires will wear quicker the lower I go, but I don't care, it's the price you pay for the look. :-). I also know that the elm would be adjustable where as links are a fixed height but if I can get the maximum drop with minimal rubbing why spend the extra money on an elm? Right?
Any advice is appreciated!

I ordered g2 online...eBay I think. It is too hot now to use it unless you paint inside which smells for days because it is epoxy.
I would try the duplicolor spray if I were you. I also received brembo decals yesterday. They will look sweet.

The carlsson elm I have is not the latest plug and play version. It is the older one. on my cls55 when set at 30mm front and 25mm rear, the top of my tires can't be seen. Drops even more when in sport mode 2.

I've already lowered my car 3/4" via star, but its not low enough for me. Will the elm work in addition to my already lowered height or will I need to set back to stock first and thus only giving me the 30mm of drop of the elm?

If its lowered via STAR its thinks that it sits at stock height right ? So i am sure ELM will lower you another 30mm/25mm.
And you still use button to rise your vehile in case of rain or whatever. Also on bumpy roads ot goes back to stock height.

I can ship it. I have 2 units. 1 installed one on my car and the other is sitting in original packaging at home. I wish I had answers to the rest of your questions but I can tell you the stance looks great and it handles like its on rails. I decided against links because with my research, everyone was telling me to go with an ELM. Anyway, at the price in selling , its just as cheap as your having links installed for.
