Windshield Washer fluid level and/or coolant level sensor
Does anyone know where the windshield washer level sensor and the coolant liquid sensor are located?
They are on the same circuit and sometimes trigger false alarms .. they are very cheap but I can't find where they are.
Anyone had to replace either one?
Thanks,

The coolant sensor is under the header tank. You just twist to remove it and unclip the cable. I don't know where the windshield washer level indicator is. I am trying to find out myself.

winshield level sensor
it's located under the left fender couples of bots to take off very easy to change. but I thinks your problem are not the sensors it may be related to SAM. because coolant and windshield level sensor are on the same circuit. I got a similar problem. I changed my windshield washer sensor and it did nothing the problem is still there

Windscreen washer or coolant level indicator
I tried replacing both the coolant level and windscreen washer level sensors but it still shows 'check coolant level'. The coolant level is fine. I have concluded the same as you. It is the front SAM unit unit. In SA this will cost about $900 to replace with a new one. I may go for the used one I was offered for about $200 but have to install it myself. Has anyone installed a front SAM unit.

The coolant sensor is situated under the front of the header tank. It clips out by turning it. The washer level sensor is right down by the washer tanks. It is not easily accessible.
If you but a used front SAM unit it must come from the same car or the agents will have to program it.

I'm a three Mercedes family and I'm kind of ashamed to tell you what I did. My Wife kept getting a Low Washer Fluid warning come on her 2011 C300 and could never be cleared by adding more fluid. After reading about the sensor problem, I decide to add a cup of White Vinegar to the washer fluid reservoir. It's been used to clean windows for many years and it adds some covalent electrons to the fluid mix. The Alarm didn't go away immediately, but I told her to keep using the washers every time that she went out driving. After about a week, she told me that she no longer had the alarm warning to add more fluid. We have run the tank dry and then filled it with blue colored winter washer fluid and haven't seen the alarm since.
Now here's the deal, - I'm not telling ANYONE to do this to their mercedes. I'm simply telling you that it's what I did!!

Hello everybody,
seems like I have the same problem on my 2007 CLS 500 (219.372). Multiple times a day I get a false alarm and notification about coolant level being too low and also windshield washer level being too low. I checked both sensor and they work fine. Vinegar won't help in this case, because washer sensor works on a float principle.
Did anyone have the same problem and how you solved it? Which SAM unit is responsible for this two sensors? Is there a wiring diagram available online?
Thanks for help.
