thanks for both comments!
Well, I did not use plastidip on wheels or any part of the car. so about the oem 19 wheels, they was professionally painted in anthracite grey, but I dont have them now.
Mark, about the piano black dash, it was removed and painted with car paint. About that, piano black have the problem of visible dust and small scratches, so I will do something different in few months, I will do it in alcantara, and also in the seats middle.
About the wheels, I love the BBS but they will leave the car. I need something more daily friendly, so it will have some 20's, 8 spoke Ispiri ISR8

congrats on going from w203 to w219!!
Hey Buddy,
I just also went from a w203 to a w219, and absolutely love my new ride. I didn't get a AMG, but with a few simple mods/maintenance the car is a blast (sprintbooster, resonator delete, slotted rotors, painted wheels, rear fin, ecu tune).
Why did you choose the w219? In my case I wanted more power, a smoother ride, more luxury and more displacement. Then I found a cherry cls and bought it with cash on the spot!!

Hey there, I currently have both a W203 C240 and a W219. I was wondering if you know if I can put my W203 16'' steel wheel snow tires onto my W219 for the winter? I know the bolt pattern is the same. Also I love your car! There's some ideas I might consider copying. Thanks for sharing.

well, first of all, thank you so much for your comments and for the MBworld feature, in the last month! It was really a proud to me, see that my passion for this car is also for the taste of many people, mercedes and other brands enthusiasts.
well, the best I can do is continue keeping this updated, and answer your questions, if I know.
Realog - Well, I did not fit 16 on my car, and I think that is possible at rear, more difficult at the front, because of the brakes. If you have 312mm front disc's probably you can fit, but just testing..
l1byan - thank you, really! About the E w212 seats, (and also w204 coupe) yes, they fit exactly the same way, same mounting. For the w219 you just need to find a way to fit the seating belt,
About updates, well, the car is rolling on winter wheels now. they are w219 facelift wheels, nothing special but a little bit rare.
At Portugal (europe) is not usual to see side markers, SML lights, so I like this because is different here, probably you like most without them. I have 2 sets, ambar, and clear, to suit with differeent kind of wheels. Here are the clear ones:
Other really important challenge, is the steering wheel. I really want to inprove this. So I want to fit the w205 one. I allready have most of the parts, and I also buy a set of Vito steering wheel comand (allmost like CLC one) and tested. That buttons work on standard w219 steering wheel.
At this moment I found an electronic engineer, that is helping me rebuilding the buttons board. The idea is replicate how the CLC board works, on the w205 buttons board (board = buttons "chip" lol)
If all goes wrong, and the w205 steering wheel buttons dont work, the option will be this photoshop - CLC buttons, custom holder, and trim it in alcantara (like I want to do in future on my seats and doors)
Other change is the wheels. RS2 are sold, because I cant roll low with 19" and low profile tyres, on coilovers.
So, the option was change to summer 20" wheels. The wheels are bought, and it was yesterday. Not so specioal like RS2, but is hard to find on 20" at good price. Wheels are at home, and I test fitted some BBS caps - I want to do Rial red caps next, and custom plate, like centrelock system.
well, it's all for now
cheers from Porto - Portugal

What Wheels are those?
Offsets?
I am having a pig of a time trying to find BBS LM reps to fit the AMG brakes on my car.
On the steering wheel front, there is a seller in Germany who modifies 205/218 wheels and guarantees them to fit on our older cars. I can't afford that right now, but worth a look
Your car is, needless to say, stunning!

hello, long time without news, now I can show something more.
ap10046, the wheels are 9ET30 and 10.5 ET30, but I didn't test fitted them yet. soon I will do that, but yes, they clear the brakes, the wheels are Rial Daytona, 2 piece wheels.
about the question about coilovers, I have a set of APracing, they was for W211, but fitt the W219, same chassis. You just need to buy the rear arms, W211 sedan, or the w219 rear armas (without airmatic version). They are a bit stiffer, but great anyway, damping adjustment, etc. I'm happy with them.
Well, some news. The wheels was just the beggining, so I split the wheels, trying to do something new. I'm allways trying to change something, and it's particulary true on wheels mods.
I polished the radinox lips, and apply some selant:
Then I machined the wheels face on a CNC machine, trying to give them some modern look, allmost a flat face.
I've done a alluminium custom cap, that fit's in the face of the wheels, and here are some pictures from that process. I did also a "Rial" stickers, to finish the job, before the clear coat.
At these moment I'm giving the wheels a clear coat, then they will be reassembled and fitted on the car.
Outside of the car, if you read these project you'll see what I've done at rear bumper, so now it's time to creat something new to the front. So that way I bougth a SL R231 front bumper, and I will build a W219 bumper with that design. Here are the pictures.
