Hello MB world, after the W203 (sold), I decided to create one topic from my w219.

Well, its old my passion for Mercedes. Now I have bought the car that I always want, w219 CLS.

I will leave here the pictures from the beginning until now, and post future upgrades.


Engine: 320cdi, 224cv
Suspension: Airmatic
Outside: Pack AMG
Jantes: 19" AMG OEM

How I bought it:













done an alcantara gear knob, and wrapped in 6D carbon trim:




then I blacked out the front grille, apply US bumper markers, lowered the car with lowering links, and it looks like this:
















Then is the wheels. I am building a custom set of BBS RS2. I have bought a set of bbs rs2 18" and a set of schmidt wheels in 19". I will use the schmidt hardware (9j in front and 11j at rear) and the rs2 centers.

I bought class E Coupe seats, here they are:

- I have done a remap, now the car is more pleasure to drive, around 270hp, next the idea is to improve the exhaust


-At the rear, I have the 4 tail pipes idea..so I research from mercedes OEM diffusers and I find one E63 amg diffuser with 4 oem pipes at good price, I will try to adapt it to my car:




-I also dont like the old look from my front grille, and I will try to adapt one from E class from 2013. Not a easy job, but I will try. There's no aftermarket grilles that I like, and the OEM facelift is expensive and not plug & play.

airmousan and Lepez, thank you for your comments! I will keep you updated, soon I will have news about the rear bumper, and the next step is to do a full repaint.

Before the paint, I buy the lip for the rear, replica but made in plastic, allready at home:

 

a4 german, that is some amazing work!

 

Have never seen the CLS without the rear lip spoiler before. I really like how sano it looks. Also like the debadging (and REALLY love those black wheels that you got the car with!)

You have quite the project there!

As for the e-class seat replacement.....how do they feel / function? Do they have the dynamic seat functions?

About the e-class seats, my car doesnt have (oem) dynamic seat functions, so I bought the seats from a e-class without that functions. My car doesnt have also memory seats, so these seats doesnt have that function.

The car is now on the workshop for a full respray, on the carker black mercedes paint.

This is the test fit of the diffuser, on the final rear bumper (still miss 2 parts)

rear trim missing, around exhaust tips. I irdered one new on Mercedes, comes home next week. Here it's possible to see some details of the rear bumper.
