Clock problem need help! w211/w219

Hi,

I have a 2008 cls550 and my analog clock in my instrument cluster stops working everytime I shut down the vehicle.

When I reenter my vehicle and turn the key the clock syncs again with the digital clock in my comand, but when I park my car the clock stops again.

I already tried resetting the clock (by removing the fuse) . The clock succesfully resets but the problem remains.

Is there anybody whon knows a solution?

many thanks!

You can check F40 @ front SAM (engine compartment) to UCP that provides ultimately power to clock (no dedicated fuse) but you may need to replace clock. If this is the case you have the choice of replacing complete center nozzle panel inclusive of clock used or disassembling current panel to replace stand alone clock. I believe the center air vent panel is part 2218300554, need VIN to confirm. BTW you should be posting here: https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w221-74/
