Mercedes CLS problems

Hi

I have a 2006 3.5L Mercedes CLS CGI

I have 214,000Km on the clock approx, and this car has been good to me so far, I have had to replace just the front left suspension and automatic clutch at 190,000km - I have had allot of use out the car but I will admit to not giving it a regular service, but the last service was at 213,00km

3 weeks ago i had the check engine light come on and the car felt like it had a big lack of power, especially going up hills, I have taken it 2 garages (one say its one of the camshaft magnets and the other is saying its the dreaded balance shaft issue) , I am given the following error codes: 1207, 1211, 1199, 1203, 0629, 0637, 0649

Can someone with experience please tell me which Garage is giving me the correct information and the best way forward for me to resolve this issue

Also I found out my car's VIN may indicate a weak balance shaft issue, so is it advised to sell this car considering how many miles i have done? I really dont want to let go of it, if it turns out that its not the balance shaft, could it be im ok with the balance shaft after doing all these miles?

Also how many miles do you think i can get out of this CGI engine? have they ever been known to push 500,000 km ? what is the highest mileage anyone has seen on these older CLS petrol models?

Thanks

Cameron

Suggestions:

1207 P0016 Constant adjustment of intake camshaft of right cylinder bank in direction 'Advanced
1211 P0018 Constant adjustment of intake camshaft of left cylinder bank in direction 'Advanced
1199 P0017 Constant adjustment of exhaust camshaft of right cylinder bank in direction 'Advanced
1203 P0019 Constant adjustment of exhaust camshaft of left cylinder bank in direction 'Advanced'

Since 1200 & 1208 (balance shaft) are not stored cost effective solution, change out all 4 camshaft solenoids (magnets) to current part # 2720510177. In the process of replacement one can check for balance shaft problem see here:

0629 P0300 Misfiring
0637 P0304 Misfiring of cylinder 4
0649 P0302 Misfiring of cylinder 2

Swap ignition coils see if problem follows to new location. If so, cost effective solution replace malfunctioning coils - replacement part # 2729060160. In addition, note MB (USA) requires spark 272 plug change out every 78,000 miles/ 5 years whichever comes first - replacement 0041592503.

Confirm part #s per VIN.
