I have a 2006 Cls350 that makes a clunking sound when I hit a pot hole or speed hump. The garage has changed many parts but this has not improved the issue.

My 2005 CLS 500 from 2005 had the same noise (after 290 tKM), and it turned out to be the upper wishbone bearing in one side, and a change of both bearings solved the problems.

Try to check up on these, if not all ready done.
