Boot lid and number plate lights problem
I have 2008 CLS 350 that I have driven för about 2 weeks now. When I bought the car the right numberplate light was not working. Today I decided to change that light bulb but came into some problems. I unscrewed the light and changed in the screwed it back. Both lights now work fine. But, the car claimed that none of them worked when I started the car. That the first issue, is there any way to reset it or something that I might have missed that I must do? I don't have the owner manual so I could look anything up there.
The second problem that came at the same time is the boot lit. Half way through unscrewing I opened the automatic boot lid to see if I could reach the screw better that way, but the boot lid stopped like 1/4 of the way or something. It wont open any further or close by it self. Nothing happens if I press the closing button, unless I manually push the boot all the way up, then the boot goes down to the same 1/4-ish position. So I have to manually close it as well?. How can I reset this?

Check wiring harness running along left trunk hinge.

Checked the harness and 2 of the wires were completely off. Which probably caused both electrical problem with the trunk aswell as the false warning on the lights. Both are now solved. Thanks
