Steering Wheel Height Adjustment Not Working

Steering column fore-aft adjustment works fine, but won't go up or down . Any ideas?

Most common cause, broken coupling (part # 2034620678) see here: https://mbworld.org/forums/audio-ele...e-up-down.html

Konigstiger, thanks for the input. I forgot to mention that there is no motor noise, which leads me to believe it's not the coupling.

Googling shows that this is an issue with other Mercedes vehicles as well and that it can be cured by replacing a relay. But I can't find any mention of the column adjustment for this vehicle.
