I'm missing the splash shield center cover panelling underneath my car (not sure where it went, who forgot to put it back on, nor when), when I searched for the part, two came up, one says "w/ skid plate" the other says "w/o skid plate", i have a MY06 CLS 500 (not sure if there's a difference between the 500 vs later 550's or AMGs).
How can I tell which one to choose?
How do i know if I have a skid plate?
There's over a $100 difference between the two covers.
95viper i've trolled CL and couldn't find any in my area, i also don't have the time to visit junk yards in my area, they're usually closed by the time i get out of work. Fortunately the id'd one is the significantly cheaper one. i'll keep looking around, if i can't find one i have no choice but to order one.
