So is the Gen 1 CLS worth picking up now?
So is the Gen 1 CLS worth picking up for a weekend car? the prices are unreal!! for the 06-08 models. I have been a longtime lurker of the benz fourums
and have been reading about some users having transmission failures. I'm sure I can handle everything else DIY even the air suspension.
I have been a BMW fanboy all my life but this first gen CLS gives me a chubby.
For a while now and wrenched on all the ones I owned. But not sure I would be able to handle the transmission without a lift.
Do all the early years have transmission failures?
