While I'm not knocking your Photoshop skills, but I believe you just made an Infiniti G35 convertible.

count me in lyrixmajor. the truth is if they cannot. If CLK could not get a hard top cause it would be too big and heavy, absolutely no hope for the CLS.

Yeah there is no way MB could make a real CLS convertible - the top would be humongous, and besides, the roof looks like it is essential to the body structure - the car would lose a huge amount of structural integrity with a convertible hardtop - and as it is, the CLS's rear doors are not pillarless, as originally planned, because of the effects on structural integrity.

Looks cool though

Der CLS wird nicht nur als 4 türiges Coupé erscheinen, sondern auch als Cabrio. Ob es jedoch 4 Türen ein Variodach oder Softtop bekommt ist mir nicht bekannt. Erscheinungstermin ist wohl nicht vor 2005, wohl eher Frühjahr 06. Fakt ist jedoch das das CLS Cabrio bei Karmann in Osnabrück gebaut wird. Dort wird bereits das CLK Cabrio gebaut.
