Cls 550 exhaust sound
Hey. I'm a new owner of an 07 cls 550. Great car and love driving it. I've been driving it for over a month. No issues. The other day, I swear it sounded as if something changed with the exhaust system. It suddenly sounded as if it had a different exhaust! I didn't hit a pothole or anything, but now it sounds like a full blown race car! I've been reading where folks purposely change the exhausted to get this sound. It still runs well...I dont know what's going on. Any thoughts? Is this normal?

Welcome Please post picture of your ride. You may have lost a baffle inside the muffler. sometimes they break off and that would cause a different sound. I would not worry about it as long as exhaust is coming out.
