new to the forum!
I have a 2009 CLS550 that I am rebuilding and I have hit a wall.
I have searched high and low as well as looked on YouTube. There is a small bulb below the high beams in my headlight housing (looks like a 194 bulb) and I for the life of me can’t figure out how to get it out. The black connector just spins.
Is there a “trick” to removing/replacing it?
also, is this bulb considered a parking light or a driving light. Many of the charts I have looked at, don’t call out this bulb.
Also, while I was in the housing, I noticed the coating was falling off of the wiring (black wires to and from various bulbs).
Is there a way to Re-coat these wires?
I did not see anything specific in the searches on the forum, but maybe I am not wording correctly.

Hi! for the small penut bulb i used an angled pick to pry it off it just pulls right out from the holder of the headlight. As for the wirings, i opened my headlight and coated each wire with liquid tape.
Hi, the peanut bulbs just pull out. I used an angled pick to pry the holder out of the headlight. As for the wiring, i opened mine up and used liquid tape on each exposed wire. Hope this helps
