Good day fellow car enthusiasts

I got a CLS500 a 4 months back, and have already driven 15xxx KMīs (9,300 Miles)

Presently, and always, there has been an issue with the airmatic.
However for a good month or two, the issue completely disappeared, and now it has come back to stay it seems.
I have no mechanic background, so esentially my thoughts are merely speculations

When i go to turn on the car next morning, the suspension in the driver side will sit lower than passenger side.
HOWEVER, I have figured out, if I turn key to the on position (not turning car on) and wait for 5-10 mins, and turn key to off position again, it will raise the car, seemlessly without issues the entire following day, only to have the problem come back next day.
Another fix I have found, is that if I drive 2-5 mins., come to complete stop, turn key to off position, it will also raise the car.

If any of you have experienced a similar issue, I would love to hear your inputs!

Needless to say, I am reading 41 error codes when scanning the car, but engine and transmission are running better than most new cars

Read this blog to have a good basic understanding of the Airmatic system: https://blog.fcpeuro.com/the-definit...pension-system

When you shut the car off and lock it, the car will self level almost immediately and will stay in that position until you unlock it again. If it does not stay in the same position, you have a leak somewhere.

The Airmatic system uses a number of inputs to know what to set the level too, these are height sensors (2 in the front, one in the rear) and acceleration sensors (one in each corner). If the system has not been serviced yet, then items are due for replacement/servicing, like the Airmatic compressor and relay.

same - 81k passenger side rear was on the ground. Air struts are 1000 each, i got it done at the dealer cost 3500 with new leveling sensors. Honestly they don't look hard to change, but if you dont' have a lift i'm not sure how you'll be able to do it. To the after market parts, i went with the dealer because i read mixed reviews about the arrnots and i really don't need a strut blowing out at 100mph...
