Here are some actual pictures of a a CLS 500 Lauch Edition. I personally do not like how a CLS looks in Indium Grey and I do not think that it is worth it to pay $8,500 for the Launch Edition Package. However, the interior of the car is to die for. I love everything about it and I would not choose mine in any other way What do you all think?

 

I agree, I love the interior. Realistically though I could never a light interior that clean. I dislike the rims.

 

I saw one of these at a car show last week, only in black. I think its ugly. Looks like a Jag jumped a Chrysler and this is what turned out.
I thought the interior was very cramped also.

 

Same here. I definitely dislike the rims. Too bad that the AMG Sports Package or the CLS 55 AMG doesn't come with the rims that they use on the SL 65 AMG. Now, those are beautiful rims Just take a look at them. Don't you all think that those are the rims that Mercedes should have used for the CLS 55 AMG?

 

does anyone know if the Indium Grey is the same or similar as the granite gray offerd here in the U.S.? if its different is the granite gray darker of lighter then the Indium Grey? thanx

i like the interior too, but i dont think iam ganna get such a light color. i like the ash.

Moonstone gray was straight gray, this new color Iridium gray definitely has light brown in it. Granite gray is a light gray with shades of light green in it.

 

The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the matte designo oak trim in the car. It is light and natural and does not have the orange in it that the photo shows. It is also only available on the launch edition so it can not be special ordered as an option. Black floor mats look awesome in this car.

I just brought the launch edition home and I love the indium grey if for no other reason, it is unique. No other MB has this color and I think there will be more than enough black and silver CLS cars out there in a couple of months. Indium is elegant...the black and silver lend themselves to a sportier appearance in my opinion. I think the 7 spokes are kind of cool too because I have seen so many 5 spoke AMG style wheels. They cost an extra $480 and are available as an option.

Congratulations on the purchase of your new car. Even though Indium Grey is not my favorite color, the fact that it's a unique and rare color, makes the car very special. Enjoy it and keep us posted with any good or bad news

i think you mean the Indium silver. i like the Indium Grey i think iam ganna get it.

 

There are two different colors, Indium Grey is on the launch cars, and the other color is irridium silver.

 

I have a 2006 CLS 500 launch it has 132,000 miles on it very well taken care of trying to gauge the value of this car. Not selling just want to know the value.
