I'm debating on selling my S500 and buying a CLS or waiting for the new S500. I can't really find anyother forums or bbb's except for this one and clsforums.com which i think is new. I did have a few questions though, what is the current waiting list for this car? I did see a few on ebay already but non have the options I want. Has anyone on here actually have a CLS in the US? And if so, how would you compare to a 2000+ S 500? Thanks guys!

 

ive had mine for about 3 weeks now, dad has 04 S. he likes the CLS, while he does not think its better, but would consider one if not changing S body for 06. personally, and it appears to be agreed by most younger drivers, that the CLS is a better choice in terms of styling, interior etc. id take it over the current S any day. if u dig through some of the other threads, youll find other S class owners and they have great opinions on the CLS.

in terms of wait list, i think if you put an order in, you could get one within 3 months most likely...

 

either choice you make, means you would be investing in a new design, first year car. there are always pros and cons to this. my strongest recommendation is to test drive a CLS - it appears they have made it into most, if not all, showrooms.
