Driver Assistance Package

Should I add this option to my build? Since I rarely use cruise control is this worth having?

Have you ever used DISTRONIC?

You set speed and it goes that fast
Will slow for cars in front of you
And has active steering to help steer car and the newer years the steering gets better almost hands off.

Great in stop and go traffic as you do not have to brake or accelerte as car does it for you.

Go test drive it I say this is best option package MB has.

I agree, An overall excellent package that includes more than just DISTRONIC (which I use all the time, especially in heavy traffic), mostly various forms of collision prevention. I've had it in my last 2 Mercedes and its amazing how several times a year the collision prevention features prove useful.

Believe me, it is the one thing that sets Mercedes apart from the others. I almost passed initially on the Distronic, and now I can't live without. Should be the number #1 option on your list!

I have had it on my last three cars and it is indispensable. The new system is the closest thing to a self driving car. Buy it and I guarantee you will not regret it plus you will use it every chance you get. Today's cars have so many distractions built into them that the driver assistance package is a safety feature. It's like having a co-pilot in the car that will see and react to things you may have missed. DO IT.
