Page 96 was already brought up to them (dealer and MBUSA), which did not change the facts about the seatings being part of the Easy entry and Exit feature.

OP's question (at least from his title) seems to indicate some confusion on how to operate both the Seat and Steering wheel return. Unless (most) systems, the seats do not move on the CLS.
Them placing these feature description under the manuals "Seats and Stowing" section and that page describing some related discussion about using the cars memory seat function with this....certainly does not clarify the matter to an average consumer.
In addition, you included the part about "Steering wheel only" option, which makes it sound like a person can just choose to have that move (and not the seats), if they so desire.

On my 2020 CLS 450 the steering wheel moves but the seat does not. However, the seat will move also if the seating position is very far forward. In my case, the seating position for driving is further back, so the seat does not move, but it is not in a location for easy entry/exit. However, there is plenty of room for the seat to travel further back. Dumb design, to say the least.

My 2020 CLS450 shows Steering Wheel and Seat on the Easy Entry/Exit menu. Only the steering wheel moves up. The seat does not move back unless it is positioned too far forward. Then it moves back a little bit. The Easy Seat range should be much bigger than what it is. Poor design, to say the least.
