I recently had the windshield replaced on my 2020 CLS 450. The dealer recalibrated the sensors. The first time they did it they didn’t work. They replaced the wiper sensors and now they and overly sensitive. Constant wipe in light rain and super fast over 40 mph. I’ve been driving this car since new and they are definitely different. Does anyone know if there is some kind of sensitivity setting that they can adjust?

 

I am not sure there would be an adjustment for this. However, I do notice that my car is a little sensitive for my liking if that helps. Mine doesn't do the fast mode like yours, but I do notice that they sweep with barely a sprinkle.

Thanks for the feedback. It's definitely more sensitive than it was before they replaced the windshield and recalibrated the sensors. I told the dealer that and they were like "no, it's the same, there's no way it's different." and my response was, I've been driving this car for 5 years. I think I would know if it was the same. C'est la vie.
