new owner intro: cls55

hi guys, just wanted to make a official intro post. i've been lurking the mbworld forums for years and finally joined a few weeks ago when i decided to find a clean cls55.

if all goes well, i should be taking delivery of ITSEL33's old car in about two weeks time. my new car will be one that some of you are familiar with. it'll be my first AMG car and i may have some noob'ish questions, so bear with me.

so...Hi, i'm Sam

Nice looking ride! I'm usually not a big fan of aftermarket wheels, but those look GREAT!

I am getting my AMG wheels painted as we speak after choosing not to go with HREs. The guy at MB told me that AMG made these wheels to get the fastest 0 - 60 possible. Should have it back on Tuesday...will post pictures.

Where are you based now? Hit me up if you're ever in town so we can catch up.

still have the m3 although i never drive it now...kinda went over board with that car for the show scene (widebody, crazy paint, etc...). Contemplating turning it back to stock body so i can actually drive it.

lol, i see what you did there. definitely picked a good one to buy!

i'm migrated over to audi for a couple years and still have a project in the works (should be complete by summer). felt the need to change up the current DD and ended up with the CLS.

hit me up whenever you're in LA!

thanks for the kind words.

it's lightly modded with the CF front lip, rear diffusor, and lower module.

i bought the car with the stock wheels and have the intention of getting a different set sometime down the line. looking to get something with a deep concave
