Best aftermarket bluetooth for my CLS55

Best Buy and circ. City both have differend motorola bluetooths, but i am not sure which is better. Also, Sound Advice has the parrot system. If anyone has had experiences with any of these or even a better one please let me know. All i know is that i am not spending $2300 at a MB dealer for one of theirs. Thanks.

Parrot is awesome

Get it. I think I paid 400 installed and it is fantastic. Great reception, great sound through speakers and no complaints from people on the receiving end. Its a great product.

just a small question. Why aftermarket? you should be able to get the bluetooth module for your cls55. I bought mine from the dealer for about 3-400 dollars, and just clip it into the armrest. ?? i thought this was standard on all cls55's ? mabye not?

getting it from the dealer ship. +1
I don't recall the bluetooth set to be as expensive as the price you said. Do a little search on the forum, I remember people talking about it.

That will only work if you have the factory hands free kit, its a option on the CLS 55, it came with the Premium packge on the 63. If you do have this option then you can buy the $400 bluetooth puck.

This is what it would look like if you have the option.

This is the empty slot if you don't have the option.

The $2300 must be for the factory mb install, cause for the puck its 400.00
probably 400 for the cable, rest must be installation + programming. What does your dash look like then? do you even have the phone controls on the steering wheel? or the keypad on the right ?

I've seen bluetooth interface modules online. if you don't have the option installed (like in the photo), what other parts do you need and is it as easy as just plug them in and it will work?

Parrot is nicer, and soon to be available will be the CAN interface for it so you can use your steering wheel controls

The CAN interface wasn't out last week when i tried ordering it though

also the Parrot will show you who you are calling so you nevr have to take the phone out to look
