It is very realistic and quite simple. I retrofitted CCB's from an E63S to my C63 black Series. There is a thread on the AMG Private Lounge with all the part numbers that you will need for the conversion. Retail cost on the parts is about $15k but your dealership should be able to offer them to you at cost(closer to $10K) or close to it. My dealership gives them to me at cost and several other guys on the PL say their dealers are working with them on the costs as well.

I have not taken delivery. I was getting some back and forth information regarding delivery of my car, the Net Star computer kept showing different status. I received a text message from someone very high up at AMG/MBUSA today after I voiced my concerns over on PL, he is telling me my car is on a truck and should be to my dealership today or tomorrow.

first of all, sorry for my bad english

my first impressions.

the car looks so much better in person, it is just fantastic, the yellow paint is just superb, not like any other yellow ive seen in my life.

the drive, it is stiff, not too stiff tho... the car sits low but not too low, you wont be having any problems with road bumps and pot holes. the hood is very long when you look at it, but just after a few miles you get used to it, the blind spots are not that bad, you can see through the back window.
the seating position and the steering wheel feel fantastic, the interior is unlike any other merc, not in terms of quality but the layout and looks, you realy do feel like you are one with the car. the boot is pretty good.

the car just feels special, the looks, the feel, oh and the engine sound..... its fantastic.

My dealer reports that MB is holding up cars at the LA port while waiting for a modification/fix from Germany. I suspect it is the ECU issue discussed in another thread.
