Here is the car with some mods. Note:There are no aftermarket springs on the market as of today so other lowered cars had the stock springs cut to give them a drop. All matte silver was painted matte black and ADV1 wheels. 21x12.5 in the rear.

The cars a delayed at VPC until May 15 now. I guess I would rather have it right the first time then have it malfunction on me. It is making me wonder whether this is a good idea or not.

Jim Im looking at these more and more... as the early adopter and resident expert whats the must have options? I found two cars; one is exactly like yours (Edition 1) and the other is a Mars red with CCB's but the msrp is circa 162 vs 144.

The Mars one has CCB's, Dynamic Package Plus, Pano, Carbon Ext Trim, and a bunch nice interior adds.

I think the dynamic Package plus is essential wether you track or not and who can say no to CCB's

Vic, Edition 1 is cool becuase you get a few options not available on non-Edition 1 cars for another year or two, the fixed wing, front end aero package and real cf roof.

Drawbacks to the Edition 1 in my personal opinion is no carbon ceramic brakes and no cf interior. The Edition 1 comes with beautiful piano black interior accents but they finger print up like a ****.

I opted for the Edition 1 becuase I like the color and a carbon ceramic brake retrofit is fairly simple, a lot easier than a cf roof lol.

The car is awesome. I still can not believe how hard it pulls from 60-150mph. You know I own some powerful AMG's so for thismone to impress me in stock for says a lot.

If I had not gone with the Edition 1 I would have gone with the brilliant blue, it is gorgeous in person.

That mars red one for $162 must have more on it than just ccb's. CCB's are only like a $10k option from the factory. It must have the night package and cf package and a few other little things to get up to that price.

Thanks Jim, you are exactly right, the Mars one is loaded with the Carbon exterior job and the full interior in alcantara... I drove it yesterday and I have to say, damn its rather fast for a stock car as you have mentioned. This thing is bad a$$ . I have an Ed1 car locked in at msrp that is held a the port and Ill probably jump on that if I get one... just never had a gray car before.

This part list adds up to $20,377 before installation:

Also note the last two items "Wheel Carriers (L/R)" indicates the hubs should also be replaced - which will deviate to original and more labor cost involved.

Now let's take a look on OE set up:
Front wheel: 9.0x19"
Front brake: 390x36mm

Rear wheel: 11.0x20"
Rear brake: 360x26"

Would it be better to have a rear CCM rotor kit with larger rotor like 380 or 390mm to better fill out the wheels. The rear calipers don't seem to have a compatible look as the front either.

Racingbrake is highly specilized in CCM brake kit development for replacement, retrofit, or upgrade with "BOLT-ON" installation, and our kits use the popular and affordable Corvette ZR1 discs (same as CCB) made by Brembo or by Surface Transforms from UK for heavy tracking & racing applications.

We design the rotor hats and hardware to assure precise fitment and most efficient overall braking performance - Street or Track.

The difference between RB kit vs. OE CCB conversion is RB kits are designed to fit GTS's hub/spindle for an easy swap (complete kit), by doing so you also can have your stock brake as spare/back up set, but not if you are converting from other CCB set up.
