My AMG GTS Got Some Red Sole Shoes/Wheels-Pics!!

I meant the GTS and I drove it last week and somehow felt disappointed with the power.
I obviously did not do a race start but it did not feel like a 11.3 second car.
A rolling start and 30mph stomp just felt "slower" than a tuned CLS. Maybe I am wrong...
I hear the tune does help but is it true that you cannot take the ECU out yourself. I do not have a local tuner so that is a concern.
The car I drove had the upgraded interior and it was truly a special place to be in. The Audi does not feel special at all in that department.
To me this car feels every bit as strong (post tune) as my M157 tuned cars (E63, CLS63, SL63) and easier to launch against the RWD variants. Other parts of the car that are clearly above and beyond the CLS: interior (as you mentioned), steering, and the suspension. Its definitely more fun and easier to drive.
Here is that MotorTrend article (posted here earlier)

I have never owned a Mac and only driven a 12C for a very short period. The 12C is faster but on the day I drove the 12C, I ended up getting a 458 instead. The faster car is not always the better one.
I do know many owners of the 12C and 650S- they are the faster cars. The GTS is a mid 100k car that delivers excellent performance and luxury for its segment. A tune gets it to the next level but not the 12C or 650S performance level. It does depreciate at a slower pace as well
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Both the 458 and the 12C are on a different level than the GTS. I felt the 458 gives you a special ownership experience overall. However, I LOVE driving the 12C. Because the 12C depreciated like a rock, I think they are a bargain right now. $150/190K Coupe/Spider is so much car for the money. I would make sure you get a CPO car they are not cheap to fix.
*I have never driven the GTS, I am expecting delivery in the next couple of weeks.
