Hey all, I'm going to call Rocco's to see if it's possible. I currently have an updated 2017 C 300 Coupe (E1). I wouldn't mind paying the extra if it can be done. Will keep you all updated.
EDIT: NGT COMMAND 5.1 is the only system that works with their retrofit. My car has 5.5. No dice.

At first I thought this was great, but then I realized I have an iPhone that I plug in for much better audio and I'd rather spend the $$$ on ALP jammers and listening to this exhaust.
And will be deleting resonators for some more of that good stuff
And do a before and after video on resonator delete. Sport or Perf. exhaust?
Apple has announced Waze support for CarPlay in the upcoming IOS12, so it's time to revive this thread.
I've looked all over for options to integrate CarPlay, I'm told it's possible for the NTG5*2 system in the GT-C to support it with firmware/parts. Anyone have any progress on this?

I have a GTC and would love to know how. Any more info would be greatly appreciated.
I'm going to try this on my CLA using a JoyeAuto CarPlay box. Prob will get around to it in a few weeks though. Only then I'll attempt it on the GTC lol

I did this on my old 2017 C63S...it 'worked'...kinda. REALLY hokey and made the reverse camera work about 50% of the time and it really got confused with using your phone via bluetooth. It threw the screen colors off too. It was wireless and when it worked great, but the glitches made me turn it off.
Not sure of the Navik is any better but this one makes me recommend to just save your money.
A local company here in Toronto can retrofit NTG 5.5 to the car with CarPlay and android auto. The only caveat is the price and time. They are asking $5000 CAD and need 3 days to do it. Not sure if you get a new steering wheel with it either...

Thats a pretty good deal when you factor in the hardware costs alone. $3,650 USD....says they are global too -wonder how they pull that off and how this gets managed against the VIN should you need a SW upgrade etc.
