Euro Front License Plate

Hi,

Does anyone have the part # for the bracket or mount to allow mounting a euro front license plate on the GTS?

Purely for cosmetic reasons I'd like to use my custom Euro front plate on my US car.

NO, just no to the Amazon & Sly No drill plate frames. Those are flat like a board which would look about as good as a rusty steel wheel on my SL550.

Here is the existing US plate bracket - notice it has a shallow V shape? Put a Euro plate on there with a straight frame - mind as well use the US Bracket and mount with Duct Tape

Hi,

If you want to mount the EG size, I recommend a self-made mount.
This allows you to install the (now curved) shield at a negative angle (approx. 15 degrees).
Follows the contour of the cooler opening nicely.

I take it from your avatar, you need for an Edition 1 = until 2016?
(Facelift needs different mounts)

There are several ECE versions. Which country do you need?

Germany: A190 880 00 44
Italy / Australia: A190 880 01 44
Switzerland: A190 880 02 44

To make it complete:
Mexico / Asia: A190 880 03 44
China : A190 880 06 44

Cost around $50 - $90

If you want to buy one. I recommend the Swiss version.

Had my (german) GTR as a factory option. Surcharge for this: 450 USD !!! Usury :-) .(Replaced now by self-made)

Pros:
You don't have to drill any holes outside of the US bracket.
(Could maybe fit?) And you can also mount a US shield?

This is the smallest I know. Area approx. 3.1" x 11.8 " (Germany: approx. 4,3 " x 20.5 ")
The number plate can protrude beyond the holder. Just the other way around seems strange. :-)

Recommend invisible Velcro for attachment. (I've been taking it for years)

Best regards
