2018 vs 2017 GTS Bumper Interchange Question Resolved!

Looks like the part number for both the 2017 and 2018 front fenders are THE SAME (Part No 1908800106) which would mean that the bumper on the 2018 (Part No 19088535019999) would fit the 2017 and earlier models.
The other good news is that the dealer list price for the 2018 bumper is only $952 but the new grille costs around $1500 (assuming you can reuse the Mercedes emblem which is otherwise $333).
The new bumper is still not available for order since all bumpers are slated for production vehicles but should be soon. I am sure your local body shop can get these parts for less than the dealer. Also, I checked online and this 2018 bumper can be found for only $584
Assuming a similar discount for the grille pieces, it would make this job not that expensive.

Also, I thought that instead of re-painting the new bumper you can also wrap the entire car with a new color and avoid paint especially if you will be changing the rear bumper which looks like it is interchangeable also.
