Not all of us are subject to those rules. I have been given exact timing during my entire build. When I was in Germany for my Project one order they even told me they were building my car later so it wouldn't have to sit.

I can't speak for the east coast VPC but the 61 GT Rs in Long Beach are just about cleared out. Mine left the VPC on the 4th and is waiting for me at the dealer; I have two other friends in LA that ordered well after me (my car reached the US on 5/14) and they picked up their cars yesterday.

I am very hopeful that the VPC’s and dealers did their due diligence and the MB corporate vision of “Best Or Nothing” will prevail.

Common Sense. There was never anything to talk about this long anyways. Don't you get it that you all made an issue out of NOTHING?? This car was not promised in APRIL, it was promised to be available in later Summer/FALL. This is some of the most ridiculous reading like ever. All the misinformation that was spewed here made it that much worse. You all hyped yourself up for nothing, all because someone posted that the cars were shipped in April or May. It because a pointless and quite frankly stupid discussion after that due to all the constant speculation about everything. I guess you'd rather wallow in misinformation than no information at all.

Like the Long Beach VPC, the Baltimore VPC was cleared out in very short order after the very long awaited MB release was authorized. So your GTR floated in to town at just the right time.
I want to go to the casinos with you but I’ll still need to bring my rabbits foot along for my luck.

BUT the free maintenance started when your car was checked into the MB VPC aka ROACH HOTEL 4-6 months ago to NEVER appear again.
