The earliest delivery for the 991.2 GT3 here stateside is November 2017. Those early November 2017 deliveries mostly come from the owners of the VIP Program who got first dibs in the order banks. There is no delay in USA 991.2 GT3 deliveries. Europe always gets early deliveries as in any European brand. There is one member here who is expecting delivery this January. The lock date on my 991.2 GT3 is October 5 2017. I placed my 991.2 GT3 order back in May 8 2017.
I have bought many varying PORSCHE cars. They are always a few days ahead of projected dates. Once there was a delay and got almost daily updates up to the point where the car is loaded on the truck enroute to the dealer. Legiimate PORSCHE orders get a V**tracking sheet shown below.
The GTR WAS .3 tenths off of the 998 in Virginia Raceway.......The price differential about $800k....
I'll take the GTR every time!!
In case you forgot, the "P" cars were tied up for many months at the Port VPC's too. They did a great job working 24x7 to deliver all of the back logged cars to their respective owners in less than a week.
You forgot I live in Florida so snow isn't a issue BUT Cat 5 hurricanes are.
Which one is lousy, is it the AMG GT-R or the driver. We may have to wait for the AMG "Black Series" for better performance

In the end it takes a decent driver but there were plenty of times in the video where the Porsche didn't keep up
Difficult driving on an open day where any car can get to drive on the track.

You and I have the same next level MB Management (I'm in Jax) and my dealer senior management is hearing crickets like we all are.
That last post rumor or not unnerves me. I truly hope rhese cars haven't been sitting outside for in my case 5 months now and closing in on 6 months at the end of September.
Still no communication from the Private Lounge or MB directly like they promised 2 weeks ago.

Yes Wolfman, too many wannabes at the track and serves more of a distraction on the GT-R and 991.1 GT3RS. Keep in mind the GT-R is twin-turbo V-8 (athlete on steroids), whereas the 991.1 GT3RS is "Naturally Aspirated" Flat-6. in other words, Unadulterated Pure Athlete. Plus it is a two year old car that cannot be left behind by a much newer car.

In the beginning of the video is where the GT-R was "allowed" by the 991.1 GT3RS driver to overtake.
The fact of the matter is very simple. The GT-R is a twin-turbo V-8 racing against a two-year old 991 GT3RS "Naturally Aspirated" Flat-6 engine.
Clearly the GT-R may have "leap frog" the 991.1 GT3RS. My point is having a bigger engine and two year newer, the GT-R should have kicked the butt of the 991.1 GT3RS, but IT DID NOT.
The 991.2 GT3RS will be coming out soon hopefully by 2018 as a 2019 model. Then we will witness how the new 991.2 will use the GT-R as a mop to wipe off the skid marks it will leave on the tracks by the 991.2 GT3RS.
When do you want to race my Viper-ACR Extreme BUBBA? Would love to use your base GT to mop the skid marks my Viper-ACR Extreme will leave on the track.

Well Monday Tuesday will be the worst here. You should get lots ans lots of real hard rain and wind. But we'll all survive I am sure.
