To be fair, Dodge did make some high-performance vehicles in Canada (Charger, Challenger) but I don't know if that extends to the SRT vehicles or not.

Nope, he was just wrong. Period. Doesn't matter about other models, he stated the Viper was made in Canada and that is just plain wrong. He should have researched it more before trying to tell someone else they were wrong.

What you are overlooking is that MAYBE, JUST MAYBE you were being "Jonesed" all along

Hi guys...I don't post a lot but hopefully this are good news...
This pics were taken today in Brunswick VPC.... I know the car is a driving academy car but something interesting was told to me by the same person who took the pics and that he saw bunch of GTRs being moved and and rearranged within the lot along with bunch of E63s ......
I immediately Called my SA at my dealership and he checked the computer while being with me in the phone line and he told me that today (9/21/17) the status changed to "purchase price completed/updated". He said this is the first change he sees since the last update 5 months ago.
I really want to believe we are getting closer to the delivery of our cars. Mine (GTR), like many of yours, have been sitting in Brunswick since April.

If your info is correct, it should be;
D4 READY TO DELIVER or,
D5 RELEASED TO CARRIER
Next week is the end of the quarter so, hopefully MB/AMG will make their “late 3rd quarter” Target Date.

I think both E63S and GTR owners in waiting will ride this week out to see if MB/AMG makes the “late 3rd quarter” comittment.
A big issue will be seeing the cars first hand and assessing whether they are in factory new condition as they would have come from the factory.
It’s going to be a very interesting week for sure!!

Had my sales guy check their incoming GT R and there was no Ready to Deliver/Released to Carrier status but there was a PO update a few days prior. The last update on that car was back in June when it first arrived at the VPC.

If more people do ditch their orders, will the absurd markup by dealers come down? Some dealers are trying to sell them for $30K over sticker. But if there are a bunch sitting on the lot because folks got tired of waiting...

I think boh E63S and GTR owners in waiting will ride this week out to see if MB/AMG makes theit “late 3rd quarter” comittment.
A big issue will be seeing the cars first hand and assessing whether they are in new condition as they would have come from the factory.

you haven't really bought a car until you hand over a check and or sign finance papers AND officially take delivery so it makes sense to just wait it out and see.
Prices may not drop right away. I don't think everyone follows these boards as closely as we de, or do they?

IF your car is/has been at the MB/VPC the code is/was;
D1 VPC RECEIVED
D2 SURVEYED AT VPC
D3 POTENTIAL DELAY
If the whispers regarding the recent movement of our cars is really happening then the codes will move to
D4 or D5 status and then they are ready for the carrier to pick it up.
FWIW: Your dealer gets online updates when status changes occur.

Lets just say I'm being optimistic thinking that I will come across a GTR that the person bailed on it since I couldn't get an allocation from my dealer. I just built this garage and bay 1 would look nice with the GTR and my new .2 GT3 coming in January, parked on top of one another on the lift.
I might trade you for your .2 GT3 if you give me $50k

Your guy is jerking you around or doesn’t know anything about the MB Online Ordering System.
IF your car is/has been at the MB/VPC the code is/was;
