For those of you that dropped with either H&R springs or KW H.A.S. (especially if you have the DPP option) any feedback on the impact to negative camber front/rear and how much of that can be dialed out (if any) through suspension adjustability?
I like the look of he 1.2-3" drop (and or fender depth spacers) but concerned about eating tires if the incremental neg camber is excessive or can't be neutralized.

every car you lower, you have to readjust the alignment. It always causes trouble, it can hardly ever be adjusted back to normal. You have to buy more modified parts and try to regain your alignment. The parts always cost more that it would if you just replace tires more often.
Maybe somebody has news about these GT cars, maybe its adjustable but dont get your hopes up.
I had the same question. On my SL55 the OEM adjustments wernt enough to get the camber back even close to OEM. This thing would wear out both front and rear tires inside 8K miles leaving the center and outside of the tires virtually new. I really hope this isn't the case with my soon to be GTS. Can anyone confirm EXCESSIVE tire wear after a quality alignment has been performed?
DPP already provides about -3 degrees front camber. Not sure about the rear. Some cars allow camber adjustment to return fairly close to stock but I believe that is not the case with the GTS. If not, can anyone confirm exactly how close they have been able to get?

It did look good though! But I hear you on the tire wear. My GTS won't see 8k miles in 3-4 years so slight excessive wear is acceptable.
I did lower my CLS with adjustable KW and even with me being very close to OEM, it would eat rear tires in about 5K miles.
I did ask my local suspension guy and he unfortunately have not done a GTS yet but he told me to expect the same level of wear. Due to the intense labor to change the rear ones, I opted out of lowering the car. I have 9K miles on my PSS and I think I can easily get another 7K.
The other issue is that the car will be subject to potholes, curbs or parking stoppers a lot more.

the age of the car has alot to do with it. I had a 03 55 and it was way too low to align. The suspension had settled
But I got a 11 63 and it was so new, with mostly the same suspension as the 55, it aligned just fine and the tires wore very nicely
LOL, I love how 'car guys' think. It's not how we feel, it's how we look, eh?!
I have to admit, in 40 years of driving, I've tweaked just about every suspension of I've owned because most have benefited from lowering. But I have to admit, I see no performance benefit to lowering this car. It handles on rails out of the box. And there's no concern with front spoiler decapitations. Just wish the gap were gone. Might have to leave this one alone....
Well its a little bit of both. Obviously there is such a thing as too low. Its a street car after all. Finding a happy medium between the perfect look and feel is key. Now for a dedicated track car of course looks take a back seat to performance. Id venture to say 98% of the people posting here are building street cars.

I really do not like the idea of the trunk area having to be taken apart to such extent. I am considering going with 21" wheels front and back with about a 1" overall greater diameter tire which will fill the gap in 1/2" and avoid all the scrapes and issues the lowering causes.
I have had HR and Eibachs in the past and both have worked really nicely but the swap was super easy. I dont feel like messing with the GTS suspension this time.

Can't the H&R's be installed without removing the rear shocks and hence, interior? Unless you need adjustability, the drop is near perfect.
