Selenite Grey: Metallic vs Matte
The GTS I was demo'ed in last year was magno selenite. It had 2k miles and was already sporting a couple of pretty nasty nose chips and one on the door sill, where the driver had caught it with his shoe.
I noticed that on any edges, the paint seemed to chip and flake, rather than gloss that would scratch/gouge.
Anyhow, matters not - get the finish you like best and live with it. People that don't like wear and tear tend to drive less anyways!
i hesitated for ages over the colour.
i am a car designer so from a purely styling point of view mettalic grey is the best way to go.
the blacks and silvers hide the cars amazing shapes.
the matte flattens down the curves.
also matt is « trendy » not a problem if you aren’t going to keep it but if its a car you never want to sell the gloss paints will always be more timeless
