I signed the papers on this beauty today. To be delivered later in the week from Northern California.
I'm coming off an i8 BMW (and have an M4) so this will be interesting. My last Mercedes was a 2001 CL55.

Thank you, Gojirra. At some point in the near future I am going to call on a fellow GT owner here in the L.A. area to show me how most of the gadgets work. The CL 55 had the first version of Distronic, I had the Keyless go keys, and I know how to pair the cell phone and program the garage and gate openers. But as for the rest I am not looking forward to figuring it out for myself. Looks daunting.
I hope I will be able to find a volunteer. I think I have seen only 1 GT on the streets in L.A. in the last 2 years. I've seen dozens of i8s, but the GT appears to be very rare.

You will be so impressed with it vs your M4 (assuming F82)... the sound alone will make you jubilant. But the steering feel, lack of understeer, and planted suspension will further the happiness. Its just the better car (as you can tell I had an F82 and it was good but not superior).
