Handling
More of a sensation in the seat of my pants, rather than the car feeling unstable/twitchy....... and something rightly/wrongly I put down to the relation of driver, cars point of rotation and the front axle.
Anyone else find this, as I'm curious after another post mentioning handling?

Yeah, I've always felt the same thing. The car does seem to react to every little twitch. The car also feels very big, like it takes up an entire lane width wise.
I feel like driving the car requires all of my attention. I pretty much ignore my phone and try not to mess with the command interface while driving it.
I do love the hydraulic steering though. This is one of the very last cars you can get with hydraulic steering.
Best to always be paying attention for sure! lol

I guess you gotta pay attention in all three?
I think my new daily, the 718 Cayman, which is an amazingly intuitive and balanced car, probably hasn't helped me.
No point having a stable full of similar cars, so now I'm really looking forward to what the Performante brings.
.... also thinking to pass on the GT3.

I meant the feeling you have when you actually drive the car but thanks. Lol.

I also wish AMG had given the steering more weight, or at least made the assistance speed sensitive.
AMG GT wheelbase is 263cm, with the driver-seat base midpoint 85cm from the rear axle, so measuring from the back, you sit at 32% distance (midpoint 50%).
718 Cayman wheelbase is 247cm, with the driver-seat base midpoint 112cm from the rear axle, so comparatively 45% distance and much closer to the pivot point.
Its almost like my butt is sensing a slide in the AMG GT, when in actual fact, its just the increased lateral movement from sitting further out back.
