I am curious about the effects of the aero kit though at low US street/hwy speeds. You assume scoops of extra air will create significantly higher force to cool down the intercoolers at low speeds? I wonder if better pumps wouldn't yield a better bang for the buck if performance only (not cosmetics) is the priority.

You don't like some of theirs, somebody might not like yours.
If yon't want opinions you may disagree with, don't post... Problem solved.

I don't disagree about the splitter (aero kit) but its the same bumper with exact same size intakes. But you realize that the ED1 is the "original" design. Not the other way around.

Your point still isn't made. You like the splitter and think it does a lot for you. Coincidently I think the CF work is fantastic but it's a mod just like every other mod. Others mod the engine, tune it or get different wheels. Great for everyone as long as everyone is happy.
You don't like some of theirs, somebody might not like yours.

I could post pictures of gravel chips in the paint before installing them but all any GTS owner has to do is look at their own car..now imagine something in place to prevent them and still look tasteful..
If I wanted to have them as an aero aid I would install a rubber apron to keep the air trapped as it flows rearward but without a real functional diffuser it makes no sense...
I'm not selling anything or do I need to justify my purchases of products with empirical data, I know from past experience what will work in the real world.
Mercedes opened up their front bumper / splitter design for a reason... increase airflow to the heat exchangers.

It has been mentioned more than once on these forums but it is really difficult sometimes to have what is meant (posted) to be received as it is intended.
In my case, I was trying to convince you to let people know what the enhancement did for your ride performance wise. Please remember that there are very few of the members here who have “carved the canyons” as you and maybe 6 more members have done. So the rest of the members have absolutely no experience level to draw on. In my assessment you are the window into that experience. I for one want to learn more which is why I made the suggestions I did.
If I get out to the “left coast” I’m gonna hunt you up and leach a ride. Then we can go over to California Johns and drink his keg of beer in his garage.
ENJOY YOUR RIDE!!

Nothing to heed. If you read my posts you will notice that there is nothing about your mods or anyone else's, just about how you respond to any poster with a different opinion than yours.

Soulsea made a personal statement regarding the CF addition to your car since he felt that it wasn’t to his taste aesthetically, and perhaps performance wise; (that’s difficult to know since Renntech don’t supply increased airflow and/or decreased IAT data). Since you posted pictures of the modification for all to see, you should have been prepared for both types of comments; positive and negative. Attacking other members here who aren’t attacking you personally when we are all owners of a great car, the GT and it’s variants, is counter-productive IMHO.

Now you’re simply being rude; and there’s no call for it.

I actually find that splitter and side skirt combination very unattactive (to put it politely) and anathema to the design language of the vehicle, which at its core is based on beautiful curved design. Unless you were a track rat and those were data backed functional aero pieces to improve performance, they imho ruin the design of the car and look like like out of place cheap add ons.

Attacking what I do to my car is personal where I come from. But you would have to be a gear head to understand that and not just some check writer..

It's just some fawking CF! And people sharing their 'opinions' such as, "yeah, that's lame......BUT IT'S YOUR MONEY!"
What is it about using the phrase "it's your money" , translation.........you're wasting your fooking money dude!
That's off putting whether it's an 'opinion' or not........and lets be honest, when someone uses such a phrase.......it isn't in a good way, and they know it......THEN they try to play the 'it's only MY opinion' card.........see previous phrase translation
seriously

You know nothing about me, or the fact that I’ve taken almost every car I’ve owned to a road course multiple times over the last 25 years. Oh, and I purchased my GTR purely because of it’s abilities on a road course. But I’m just a ‘check writer’, not a canyon carver, so what do I know, right?
out.

You got it but don't take your car up there now.
The road has so much crap on it, no matter how thick your clear bra is, you will destroy your rocker panels.
Oh well paint work is now in my future..
The pucker factor was strong yesterday..

Ronin who is taking the pics? Another canyon carver or a photo guy with a sweet mobile set up?
