GTR lower carbon fibre lip

I am understanding that the lower carbon fibre lip comes down after a certain speed to let the air in but does anybody have any clear instructions on how to lower it while it’s parked to apply the paint protection?

Uhhhhh, the lip doesn’t move.

there is a carbon fiber panel on the undersurface that drops 1.6inches after hitting certain speed.

It definitely doesn't move. I assume the carbon lip can be unbolted easily, my PPF guy had no issues applying it to this part.

You can have the CF front spoiler removed from the car for whatever reason, but you’re confusing the static CF spoiler with the active aero that drops down at a certain speed threshold to enhance front downforce.

The moving part is different than the lip you see at the bottom of bumper. That lip is fixed. What moves is completely under the car and has no visibility unless you are on the ground looking under the car. It is not a cosmetic piece that would need protection.

Now when you are parked you can lower it to clean off debris etc. there’s a button on the overhead for manually lowering it.
