Best place to Order OEM parts
ive been looking to order some parts, ie trim, emblems for my car.
I found a place www.shopmbonline.com which has the best prices. They claim to be an authorized Dealership for MB and sell only OEM parts. Their lower prices make me wary .
Anyone shop with them ?

I came across a very interesting source while trying to find a set of 12" wheels from a GTC.

Apparently this is a used car dismantled owned by Mercedes that parts out end of life cars. Funny thing is "end of life" also means factory test cars, so they have parts from brand new GT's that were never sold to the public. I have ordered 2 12" wide 9 spoke AMG wheels from them and will report how that all turns out in a month or two when I get them. The catch is that they only ship to locations close to Germany, I have a friend there that will reship them but I'm sure there is some export company that can assist. The GT isn't listed under the available vehicles but if you know the part number they probably have it.

Not necessarily . My dealer wanted $1650 for the part; another dealer wanted$1800!
ive seen it around $1100. It is easy to replace. Remove the plastic end covers and they are held in place by a couple of torx screws
