2016 AMG GTS Edition 1, 2020 G550
Polar Vortex Driving - Chicago
Currently shows -16 deg F! A few min later I saw -19 deg! No issues at all.
Just posting some pics of my daily driver...2016 Ed1 GTS with 51k miles. Did well in the ice and cold with the Pirelli Sotozeros! At one point i saw -19 deg F but couldn’t snap a pic. For anyone worries about driving this car everyday, I can reassure you that it’s well made and can handle just about any conditions!

I'll stick with my S63 coupe with warmth and comfort package.
Although I did think of unbolting the sotozeros and putting them on the gts just to be able to play a little.

These wheels are Drag 48 from Discount Tire. The fitment is pretty good. They are one of the few readily available, relatively inexpensive wheels that could clear the massive AMG brakes. The back wheels would likely benefit from a small spacer.

Don't start it cold after soaking in -16F. Does a number on your engine as you are below the specs of the engine oil. Hope you pull it out of a warm garage before you do stuff like this. LOL.
