Have they told you to expect the car this July?
My order was 1 of the first put in and they were telling me end of the year, perhaps beginning of 2020.

My order was placed before the system was fully up and running. It was very buggy and we had to manually enter some items.
My sales guy has some contacts right at the factory supposedly, May build has been confirmed but July delivery based on no delays in shipping or at port.

I was visiting the factory last week (on April 30) and saw some GT R Pro cars being built. The guide said they were the first she saw on the production line. There was also one on display in the AMG showroom in Affalterbach.

I also have a May build with an anticipated delivery in Halifax for mid July. However AMG is concerned how long it will take to get thru customs as these are the first Pro they will see. I have been told to plan more like early August to take delivery.

They should be concerned. I have a Porsche that has been sitting in Halifax since February 7th waiting for release. Dealer is now saying that it may be there until early June.

I will venture to say that the pro was not altered engine wise so as to avoid emissions review and will breeze through inspections.

Many 2019 AMG were hold and then released by Dec. 2018 while MY18 and MY19 sees no changes. It’s all up to the government now.

Does anyone know if the PRO and other 2020 GT models have the new fuel particulate filter that seems to be going into most other new vehicles? I vaguely remember one of the PRO media testers saying that the exhaust sounded a bit quieter than the previous generation GTR and they thought it might be due to the new fuel filter.

I'm thinking this may be what is causing the delivery delays since previous generation engine vehicles are being held up as well.

For the E.U. I’m sure it does, but we won’t get it here in NA iirc

Some dealers in Europe have already taken delivery of their cars so these claims seem to be true.

What is the large yellow knob just below the central air conditioning vents? I think it is also on the GTR

I like the stripes. I would rather this is a must on this limited run of the PRO as it is a track focused car and I feel the stripe gives that appeal.

Plus the stripes will be huge for resale and collectors. Although they wouldnt like mine if I could afford one.. It'd have rock chips and rash from the track

I am fine with the gray stripes on a silver or white GTR Pro, but not the green stripes on a gray car .....

Well, I'd be impressed if the car has any better resale value than any other GT model...
