The exhaust that came with the car we bought is outstanding. It has an option to bypass the muffler which really enhances the sound. I don't plan on making any changes to this exhaust note as it's already good enough for me.

yeah dont get a aftermaket catback. it ruins your stock amg sound and you cant use the built in valve button anymore. just get secondary cat delete

I have spent serious money on aftermarket exhausts on different cars in the past, but I’d never replace the OEM exhaust on the GT R; it’s that good. All of the GT cars have a fabulous, distinctive exhaust; (motorboat anyone?).

If you have the performance exhaust option on ur car already it's literally a waste of money to get any aftermarket catbacks. As stated above it ruins the amg rumble, makes the built in exhaust valve button useless. Idk if the ASR module problem affects GTs but a lot of C63s were throwing limp mode after aftermarket exhaust installs.

This. Went the res delete route, and could not be happier. Still quiet when you want it, but once you open up the valves, it sounds more like this:

I’m currently running an IPE exhaust system on my car and I really like it. The sound is aggressive when the valves are open but still manageable for daily driving. The build quality and fitment are excellent too. I’ve heard good things about Quicksilver as it’s a bit more refined in tone, but if you want a louder, sportier sound, IPE is hard to beat.
