G-Meter values

Hoping for some quick help. Have searched forums and read the owners manual to no problem-solving avail.

I have the G-force meter in the AMG menu--and the manual states that it will show the peak values in red, for up to 4 hours after the car is turned off (same time that the current trip meter would reset).

However, while the meter is active while I'm driving and I can see the instantaneous values, I don't see anything red--no numbers, no marks on the bullseye plot, etc. The only option I have when I'm on the screen is to click "ok" on the steering wheel, which asks if I want to reset values.

I have attempted to start the race timer, thinking it had to be tied to that--but that didn't work either.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. 2016 GTS w/ Track Pack BTW.

I haven't even looked at the G Meter on my GTS but I have used a gopro to film my E63s wagon, you might want to give this a try..it's more fun.

Nice. Yeah I've had and sold a few of those. They are fun. I just want the car to function right as well. I think there must be a red hatch mark that I just can't see. I have trouble with red...not good for street driving haha

I have a 2021 GLA45 AMG and have the same questions. I cannot figure out how to display the g-meter readings. It is frustrating, as in the Porsche you you press a button when the g-meter is in the screen and it shows the reading, easy.
