Facelift has blank switch?!
Is this a blank switch I see on the central console on the lower left?! Yikes! I do not like that at all!
I actually prefer the pre-face lift with the starter button on the central console.

That would really bother me. I hate blank switches on cars. Especially at this price point. I can't think of an option that would go there. At least they could have made or found some use for it. Maybe an automatic back scratcher or something... anything for that matter.

Looks like there are no blank switches -- except on the GTR Pro because the lower left is traction control, and the R/Pro get the yellow dial. Makes sense.

Agreed. Except I think the AMG DRIVE SELECT buttons and dial on the steering wheel feel quite cheap, and they are redundant. When you push one of the 2 pre-set mode buttons the entire button pod moves back, which feels really flimsy and cheap. Same for the dial - it's not a premium feeling at all... I'm surprised more people don't mention this, since it's the first thing I noticed.

Those new steering wheels are such a cluster mess of buttons. The mouse pad center button is a pain to use and you can't get to things immediately. I prefer the 2018 wheel, a little simpler and functions are quick to get to. Not everything needs to be a mouse pad...

But the steering wheel and modernized displays are much better. I just can't have the same steering wheel as in my wife's B250!
