Rear light removal

Hi.

A friend has recently purchased an amg gt and the rear lights have green mould around them. Is there a simple way to remove the rear lights as we have been told the rear bumper may have to come off ?

Any images or links really appreciated

Assuming its similar to my 2016 GTS. Search the forums for people chasing rattles in the rear hatch. One of the forum members has provided the factory panel removal pages and they are super helpful.

No need to remove the rear bumper. Just remove the 3 panels on each rear quarter (1. pop-off seat belt cover, 2. inside roof transition cover (has one screw), 3. pop-off back carpet cover keeping the black push-in plugs in mind and the 12v jack). I have the subwoofer and you have to unbolt that too to access all of the nuts on the passenger side).

For the pics, look for the pages uploaded by @Alexfor8 (who is a godsend for this forum).

2022 AMG GT53
Hi i know this is an old thread but I can't any info on how to remove taillights from a 2022 AMG GT53.

Rock must have hit mine and there is a pretty big chip. Will appreciate anything at this point! Inside the quarter panels,
These are the only bolts i see and i have no idea what they are

I cannot see the 10mm bolts and only one on the passenger side. I see a bunch of these screws and not sure what it is or even how to remove it.

Replacing tail lights on GT 43

I removed the top panel holding the lights in place from the top and I also removed the screw from the side. Does anyone know why the light won't come out?
